HILARY MACKELDEN is a British writer. She has written 34 full length stage scripts, eight screenplays and many short sketches.

As Caitlyn Callery, Hilary has written three Regency Romances in the Hadlow series, and a dark short story, “The Last Word”.

She is now working on a second short story, “A Flat Tyre” and on Book Four in the Hadlow Series, “Twelfth Night”. She is also writing a pantomime version of “Beauty and the Beast”.

Hilary writes a weekly column in the Kent and Sussex Courier.

 The Bankrupt Viscount by Caitlyn Callery was a contender for the 2015 Joan Hessayon Award at the Romantic Novelists Association. The award winner was announced on May 21st 2015.
