HILARY MACKELDEN is a British writer. So far she has written more than 30 full length stage scripts as well as eight screenplays, many short sketches and stories, a weekly newspaper column.
As Caitlyn Callery, she has written two Regency Romances in the Hadlow series, and a dark short story. She is currently working on the third novel in the Hadlow series.
Born in Coventry, she has lived all her adult life in Crowborough, Sussex.
The Bankrupt Viscount by Caitlyn Callery has been shortlisted for the Joan Hessayon Award, given by the Romantic Novelists Association for a debut novel published after coming through the Association’s New Writing Scheme. The award winner will be announced on May 21st 2015.
“The Bankrupt Viscount” by Caitlyn Callery was one of the four finalists in the Historical Romance category of the EPIC e-book awards 2015. Congratulations to Sarah Hegger, whose book “The Bridge Gift” won the award.

Hilary is currently working on Book Three of the Hadlow series of Regency Romances, “Restoring Hope”.
